Interior Construction DIRTT Designer

Designer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with working knowledge of the architectural design process: architectural drawing production, programming, design, and construction administration.
- Experience with architectural products, moveable walls and modular furniture preferred.
- Preference for candidates with DIRTT ICE software experience.
- This position is for full-time, onsite employment.

- Lead the Design Process for assigned projects.
- Communicate directly with Customers, End Users, GCs, A&D for clarification of design scope, intent, and details.
- Conduct Design Phase:
- Lead Design Meetings with appropriate parties.
- Conduct Design Presentations with appropriate parties.
- Facilitate the Design Process
- Conduct site investigations
- Field measure for precise design layout
- Create drawings proficiently using ICE software, Bluebeam. Have working knowledge of Revit and CAD.
- Render design layouts into 3d visuals, both photo-realistic as well as basic mass models.
- Obtain customer sign-off and approval before order entry.
- Solicit and receive vendor scopes and quotes.
- Adhere to Interior Construction Team Standard templates, procedures, and protocols.
- Assemble visuals, costs, and scope into a proposal format.
- Submit Order Entry documents to manufacturers
- Participate in Pre-Install meetings conducted by PM.
- Communicate with Installers onsite as needed.
- Upload final digital files to customer folders.
