JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at The Flatiron Room. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring all areas remain sanitary and up to health code standards. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen equipment, and floors.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of clean dishes and utensils.
• Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste materials.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of service in a high-volume setting.
• Support the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

The base pay range for this position is a $16 per hour.
