What GoodNight Stay is looking for:
Your job as a Reservations Specialist at GoodNight Stay is to assist the reservations team in managing, filtering, and responding to a high volume of inquiries. This is a crucial role within the company as you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming assigned inquiries are answered promptly and efficiently.
Job Duties
- Respond to a large volume of inquiries via phone, email, text, or alternative platforms
- Identify guest needs, determine appropriate properties, and verify availability/rates
- Input and access information in property management software
- Follow sale techniques to maximize revenue
- Increase customer loyalty through creation of unique offers and promoting our homes
- Assist in making any changes to reservations (moves, upgrades, discounts, date changes, etc.)
- Work closely with the Revenue Department to ensure quotes meet property goals
- Learn and utilize software to effectively respond to all inquiries in a timely manner
- Show properties, send quotes, participate in negotiations, and contract writing
- Ensure reservations are fully paid 30-days prior to arrival
- Process assigned reservation cancellations and refunds with supervisor approval
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
- Help schedule and coordinate owner meetings and requests as needed
- Produce monthly reports pertaining to the department and company
- Generate daily reports and send the information to the appropriate departments
- Assist management in time sensitive tasks
- Update pricing on long-term rental platforms
- Provide concierge-like services (restaurant reservations, itinerary creation, etc.)
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Customer service (preferably in real estate, hotel, or property management)
- Computer skills
- A candidate must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and independent in their role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and luxury hospitality service environment
- Ability to multi-task using multiple platforms and resources
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Data entry and analysis
- History for success
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- High school diploma or GED required
