POSITION PURPOSE
This position requires completing any assigned task in a timely manner and to the quality expectations of both the customer and the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS
• Complete training requirements for skill level advancement in a timely manner; in assembly and stores area
• Ensure that assembly instructions and processes are followed
• Ensure that all assembly and quality paperwork is filled out completely
• Perform product testing as required
• Ensure that quality standards are met for all product assembled
• Use the proper hand tools and equipment to assemble product
• Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures
• Comply with all rules and regulations set in place
• Maintain good standards of communication with all Goodridge employees
• Understand, cooperate and comply with plans and objectives as directed by the management team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; maintain equipment
• Perform other tasks as required, help in other departments when needed
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION | CERTIFICATION | EXPERIENCE)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years in related field
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
• Ability to read & understand measurements
• Ability to read & understand drawings
• Basic understanding of fabrication
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and coworkers
• Ability to create and maintain record retention and retrieval systems appropriate for position
• Willingness to learn
ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Environment: Warehouse / Light Industrial
• Physical activity: Mostly standing with moderate walking
