What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Goodridge?
POSITION PURPOSE
This position requires completing any assigned task in a timely manner and to the quality expectations of both the customer and the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS
- Complete training requirements for skill level advancement in a timely manner; in assembly and stores area
- Ensure that assembly instructions and processes are followed
- Ensure that all assembly and quality paperwork is filled out completely
- Perform product testing as required
- Ensure that quality standards are met for all product assembled
- Use the proper hand tools and equipment to assemble product
- Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures
- Comply with all rules and regulations set in place
- Maintain good standards of communication with all Goodridge employees
- Understand, cooperate and comply with plans and objectives as directed by the management team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; maintain equipment
- Perform other tasks as required, help in other departments when needed
