Events Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team at the Goodstone Inn & Restaurant. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for coordinating events, generating proposals, and ensuring the success of each event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate proposals and estimates for events
- Respond to customer questions and collect deposits
- Thoroughly know the property and package offerings for Goodstone Weddings, Social, and Corporate Events
- Conduct research and studies of the local marketplace to capitalize on venue strengths and competitors' weaknesses
- Provide support day of events to ensure success
- Create Event Orders for events and assist with rental orders
- Coordinate with event hosts on all aspects of banquet functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- 1-3 years of proven hotel group/event experience in corporate/catering service segments
- Previous experience with HubSpot, Maestro, and Triple Seat is a plus
- Ability to define and follow standard event processes
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge of Audio-Visual components
- Fluent English language skills
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
