This is an active engagement role that will be out and about in Dallas making new connections, promoting events, activating our venue spaces to their full potential, generating and responding to inquiries, and being the host with the most.

What You’ll Do:
Create Connections. Drum up business through networking, partnerships, and constant communication.
Community Champion. You’ll meet communities from all walks of life and bring them together at Goodsurf with sensitivity and finesse.
Impress Guests. Understand what guests want and need, then blow them away with the best possible support.
Stellar Service. Serve as the primary point of contact for community partners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Pro Planning. You’ll be responsible for charity and fundraising events onsite and tracking their success.
Lead by Example. Model exemplary hospitality with every engagement and interact positively and sincerely. You’ll be a team player supporting marketing and operations as needed and maintaining strong communication internally and externally.
Actively Engage. Show awareness of community needs and expectations, preventing problems before they occur. Always work with both our team and community members in mind and remain upbeat, knowledgeable, and professional.
Manage Donations. You’ll respond to all fundraising and donation requests, optimize filling the venue including donated spaces, attend and support events, and keep thorough documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hospitality, Event Planning, Community Engagement, and/or Nonprofit preferred.
- Bachelor’s in Business preferred.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Must have strong organizational and computer skills.
- Must be able to absorb and process new information quickly, keeping up with constantly changing and evolving systems.
- Must be able to think logically and improvise to apply past knowledge and situations to new problems or symptoms.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and meet goals, while proactively following up where team members may not.
- High standards of conduct and professionalism.
- Ability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.
