Summary/Objective
· Responsible for client access to the CCS program including eligibility determination, documentation of eligibility, and periodic redetermination and maintenance of eligibility for parents and children. Provide information about quality childcare to help parents make an informed choice of providers. Enter client information into the automated system. Conduct all processes of communicating information to parents, such as educating parents about their rights and responsibilities, responding to parent complaints, and ensuring that the needs of parents and children are met. Handle client recertification processing and termination of child care services.
Essential Functions

· Conducts face to face and telephone interviews with applicants to determine eligibility for child care assistance. Informs client of regulatory, documentation, and verification requirements.
· Completes certification and recertification interviews in order for eligible families to retain subsidized child care.
· Maintains files and assures that required documentation is on file for proper reimbursement for child care services.
· Accurately implements all regulations affecting eligibility for care and assures that methods of operation are within regulation guidelines.
· Communicates information promptly to appropriate staff regarding enrollment changes, child placement changes, legal issues.
· Notifies parents and providers of program revisions so that they remain in compliance with regulations affecting their eligibility for continued child care subsidy.
· Performs specific mathematical computations that pertain to eligibility.
· Collects and maintains data to be used in preparation of fiscal and audit reports.
· Enters data into an approved software program.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager of Client Services.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a full-time position and the employee is responsible for maintaining a forty-hour work week. Occasionally, employee maybe required to work evenings and weekends. Occasional day-time travel may be required for professional development.
