Summary
Provide assistance, encouragement and support to consumers as they learn job functions and appropriate behaviors for maintaining employment.
A variety of work experience and knowledge of the current job market is necessary.
Other job functions will include the ability to complete weekly written reports, attend appropriate staff meetings, and display strong consumer advocacy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Train consumer according to I.S.P. (Individual Service Plan), goals and objectives as noted by support team.
Document case notes evaluating consumer's progress and/or weaknesses on the job.
Maintain necessary records/paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
Report to appropriate staff, any changes, incidents or problems in a timely manner, using the most viable option (phone/incident report).
Attend/participate in required staff meetings with consumer.
Provide own transportation and adequate liability insurance for such.
Assist employers to develop techniques to effectively supervise consumers and work to develop/maintain strong Goodwill Easter Seals/Employer relationships.
Advocate for consumer at all times.
Provide basic orientation skills to individuals with a disability, around their work site and required work routes.
Assist with, or solely provide individual with travel training to the job site (as instructed).
Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.

Education Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience Requirements
An awareness of and experience in training disabled individuals. Qualifications
