DEPARTMENT: Donated Goods SUPERVISED BY: Director/Warehouse Manager
SUPERVISES: n/a STATUS: Non-Exempt/Temporary
Mission Contribution: Providing funding for our mission services operation.
Function: Processes donated goods as instructed by supervisor in a warehouse work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures World Class donor and customer service.
- Processes donated/used goods according to supervisors instructions.
- Hangs and sorts clothing and other items as instructed.
- Keep processing area, aisles and shelves clean, orderly, and clear of hazards.
- Ensures a clean and empty work station at the end of each shift
- Discards broken or unusable items as instructed by supervisor.
- Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
- Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.
- Must be able to take initiative and work well with little supervision.
- Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor and co-workers.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to engage in frequent bending, stretching, stooping, and prolonged standing, walking and twisting.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
- Ability to push equipment on wheels weighing 50 lbs. to 150 lbs.
- Ability to use fingers, hands and wrists, repetitively, while hanging and sorting clothes and merchandise.
Working Conditions: Frequent physical exertion; Exposure to soiled and damaged donated goods materials; Exposure to a variety of weather conditions (extreme heat/cold in warehouse environment).
