Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of GIC employees and custodial supervisors and crew leaders in cleaning and maintaining GIC contract sites at Fort Meade. The ideal candidate will have five years of project management experience, with a focus on large departments or contracts. Additionally, they should have prior experience working with people with severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an Ability One Custodial Contract in accordance with the contracts Scope of Work.
- Establish/create Standard Operating Procedures to align with Contractual and Organizational requirements and support the overall mission.
- Prepare and manage operating budget, monitor invoices, and approve payments.
- Provide direct supervision of custodial supervisors, crew leaders, and mobile work crews in multiple building locations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- An intermediate knowledge of custodial cleaning equipment and ability to operate effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with staff, supervisors, and division executives.
- Compassion and respect for persons with special needs and ability to build successful working relationships.
