What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Wash Cashier position at Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc.?
Essential Functions:
Provide superior customer service by assisting car wash customers;
Operate cash register, ring customer sales, provide accurate change;
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area;
Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record;
Participate in staff meetings and training, as required;
Follow all safety procedures; Report accidents/injuries and safety concerns to the appropriate safety staff;
Comply with Goodwill?s policies and procedures, including performing assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
While performing this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Most activities involve repetitive upper body movement and bending. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (unless otherwise restricted).
Must have good hand-eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
