ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work effectively as a part of Goodwill’s Mission Services Department leadership team to assess needs, develop strategies and collaborate for alignment of departmental objectives.
- Ensure effective case management practices across both the Vocational Rehabilitation and Ticket to Work programs, including oversight of participant tracking, service delivery, and goal attainment.
- Managing the VR and TTW program’s budget.
- Lead, supervise, mentor a team of Employment Specialists and Job Coaches, providing direction and support.
- Monitor and review cases to ensure compliance with CARF Accreditation standards and funder referral requirements.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff to ensure they are equipped to delivery high quality services in both the VR and TTW programs.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with external agencies, including the Social Security Administration, to ensure seamless service delivery and referrals.
- Foster staff development and ongoing training opportunities to enhance team performance and expertise.
- Ensure the accurate timely submission of performance data including the management of centralized Mission Services data bases.
- Track and report services provided, including referrals, placements, and benchmark outcomes, to meet regulatory and funder requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as compliance with Goodwill and Mission Services policies and procedures.
- Promote the Goodwill brand within its varied geographical communities to enhance public awareness, understanding and support of our mission.
- Increase revenue streams such as Ticket to Work and Vocational Rehabilitation in Georgia and Florida through proactive outreach and partnerships.
- Assist Vice President of Workforce Development and Mission Services in securing funding and expanding program revenue streams.
- Ensure that the provision of services is consistent with Mission Service’s annual goals in terms of number of persons served, number of people placed into jobs and revenue generation.
- Ensure the timely submission of benchmark reports and referrals in VR’s database.
- At times may also: perform intake interviews/assessments; initiate files; provide orientation; and other services directly with the participant
- Promotes a culture of cooperation, support, and innovation, encouraging new ideas for service delivery and process improvement.
- Demonstrates self-initiative in gaining new skills and improving areas of weakness, while creatively finding solutions to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Consistently meets all internal and external deadlines, including those related to reports, data submissions, and service delivery timelines.
- Build and strengthen relationships with employers to secure job placements and job opportunities for program participants.
- Engage with community partners to promote program awareness and support, driving increased participation and positive outcomes.
