Description

Job Objective:

To operate the baler to prepare material for shipment and maintain the warehouse in an orderly and organized condition under direction of Salvage Outlet Manager/Transportation Supervisor.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions:

• Knows and understands the Goodwill Mission: Strengthen communities by empowering individuals and families through education, training and job placement.
• Move material as required using forklift or pallet jack.
• Sort material as required for warehousing.
• Accurately prepare and process salvage materials for shipment.
• Move material into baler to be baled.
• Maintain general good housekeeping and cleanliness of warehouse as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to safely operate baler, pallet jack and pallet stacker.
• Ability to read and write clearly.
• Ability to accurately weigh material.
• Follow the dress code and wear designated identification as provided.
• Ability to work in a light industrial area with significant dust.
