THE POSITION:
Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing building and maintenance tasks assigned by the Facilities Management Lead Coach. Under the direct supervision of the FM Manager is responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, drywall, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing and/or remodeling Goodwill leased and owned properties.
Specific duties will include:
- Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers
- Assist in the inspection of our buildings and structures to determine any necessary repairs, upkeep, or routine maintenance
- Complete and document “Service Work Requests” with care in a timely manner
- Drive to locations across Manatee, Sarasota, and Hardee counties to inspect and service requests

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of work experience in facility management
- A valid Florida Driver’s License and safe driving record
- Must be available to work with flexible or alternative hours and be on-call as required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
