Job Summary
Under the Operations Manager’s direction, processes all incoming donations, including sorting, pricing, machine operation, and keeping the area clean and organized.
Duties
- Sort donations into proper bins; identify quality and recyclables.
- Price items as needed.
- Operate processing machinery.
- Maintain a clean, safe production and store area.
- Follow CPSC and Public Protection procedures.
- Adhere to dress code, including name badge.
Qualifications
- Understand and follow Core Principles.
- Knowledge of donation quality/classification and retail/stock handling.
- Ability to follow directions and listen well.
Special Conditions
- Regularly lift/move up to 40 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs with help.
- Must have full range of motion, including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling.
- Stand/walk for extended periods.
- Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus.
- Moderate noise environment.
Language Ability
- Level 1: Read and speak simple sentences.
Reasoning Ability
- Level 2: Follow detailed written/oral instructions; handle simple problems.
