How You Will Be Successful:
Under the direction of the Team Lead (General Manager), place processed donations in the proper area on the sales floor, sort, box, and label hangers by type. Major duties include maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving incoming donations and issuing receipts, greet and assisting donors/customers.
Essential Functions/Duties
- Politely and professionally receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts for articles donated.
- Rotate stock on a timely basis and by established procedures; bring the stock to the sales floor promptly.
- Place and present all merchandise on appropriate textile racks and wares shelves according to merchandising policies and procedures.
- Keep the sales floor and production area clean and safe.
- Assist in textile color rotation per established procedure.
- Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
- Direct customers to the proper area and provide general information as requested.
- Stay alert and watch for shoplifting; notify store management of suspicious activity.
- Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge and vest.
Textile Grader Qualifications
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of textile articles as related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).
- Hang garments in a timely manner as to maintain prescribed production level; sort hang, and barb color of the week.
- Place and present all merchandise on appropriate racks in accordance with merchandising policies and procedures.
- Sort and price hard goods (wares).
- Rotate stock on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures; bring stock to sales floor in a timely manner.
- Keep production area clean and safe.
Wares Processor Qualifications
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
- Place and present all merchandise on appropriate racks in accordance with merchandising policies and procedures.

- Rotate stock on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures; bring stock to sales floor in a timely manner.
- Keep production area clean and safe.
Store Clerk Qualifications
- Rotate stock on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures; bring stock to sales floor in a timely manner.
- Place and present all merchandise on appropriate textile racks and wares shelves in accordance with merchandising policies and procedures.
- Assist in textile color rotation per established procedure.
- Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
- Direct customers to proper area and provide general information as requested.
- Stay alert and watch for shoplifting; notify store management on suspicious activity.
- Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
- Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.
Additional Functions/Duties
- Refer all customer complaints to management on time.
- Answer the telephone promptly using established etiquette procedures.
- Follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.
- React calmly and respond to emergencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- Pass a background/drug screen upon employment
Special Conditions of Employment
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Standing and walking for long periods.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.
- Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and the ability to lean and remove garments from containers.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
