The Traveling Team Lead (General Manager) is responsible for the overall management and operational excellence of assigned retail locations. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily store operations, ensuring effective inventory control, driving sales performance, supervising and developing store personnel, and maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment. This role requires flexibility and mobility, as it will provide support across multiple store locations along the East Coast. Assignments will be determined based on operational needs and may vary in duration and location.
How you will be successful:
- Responsible for generating revenue and controlling expense budget for the store.
- Transport cash funds to and from the bank.
- Supervise inventory management, stock rotations, and merchandise displays.
- Maintain store premises in a clean, neat, and safe condition.
- Handle employee and customer inquiries professionally.
- Plan and maintain the organization of store personnel.
- Ensure staff compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Demonstrate and maintain good customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization.
- Assist in Loss Prevention investigations when necessary.
- Complete various reports and inspections as required.
- Respond to emergencies and alarm calls as necessary.
- Coordinate and conduct monthly safety drills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to adhere to the organization's Core Principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of CPSC and procedures for Public Protection.
- Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Skilled in conducting interviews and maintaining records.
- Ability to supervise, train, and mentor store personnel.
