Goodwill Industries of Central IL is recruiting for a Housing Program Manager for the Wayne A. Downing Home for Veterans. Goodwill’s Home for Veterans is a 15-bed facility for veterans. This is a full-time, salaried position with a range of $52,000 to $60,000 annually. The Vet Home Housing Program Manager is responsible for the safety and well-being of all residents and staff, including ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently implemented and maintained. The successful candidate for this position will be a strong leader, with the ability to set goals and manage budgets, while being sensitive to the needs of the veterans we serve.

Summary of Job Duties:
- Directly supervise all staffing of the Home, including hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
- Day-to-day management of the property, including ensuring property maintenance needs are proactively identified and facilitating the resolution
- Responsible for the fiscal management of the Home, including grants, budgets, and lease management. This includes using timely and accurate data collection to ensure all grant outcomes are met
- Assist in strategic planning and budgeting for the home, seeking new funding sources and donations for the home
- Serve as a community advocate for the Home and for our residents, and proactively connect with organizations, groups, and individuals who may desire to support our Home and our residents
- Ensure the safety of residents, staff members, and visitors by implementing all company policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
