What You’ll Do:
- Sort incoming textiles based on type, color, and size.
- Inspect textiles for any defects or irregularities then tag and hang them onto racks or other designated storage areas and transport racks to sales floor.
- Greet customers with a smile and positive attitude.
- Tidy up as necessary and keep the store looking its best.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and busy environment!
Education, Experience, and Skills that are a must:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required. Training will be on-the-job.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
- Ability to read and write at least a sixth-grade level, and able to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work 100% of scheduled hours onsite.
- Must be able to work without close supervision and capable of making simple discretionary decisions. Honesty and dependability are a must!
- Medium lifting (up to 50lbs) is required. Stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, standing, reaching, handling, speaking, hearing, carrying, walking, lifting, occasional climbing, good eyesight, and color vision.
Pay Range & Schedule: This position is hourly, non-exempt and starts at $13 / hour plus quarterly performance-based bonuses.
- Must be able to adhere to our attendance policy. We’re a retail environment with retail hours, which can include nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Most of our stores are open Monday – Saturday 10AM - 8PM & Sunday 1PM – 6PM, so no late night shifts!
- Part-time positions are up to 28 hours per week (can include weekends and evenings).
- Full-time positions are based on a 40-hour work week and open availability is required (includes weekends and evenings).
