What You’ll Do:
- The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager with the operations of production work floor and recycling initiatives in accordance with GICNC’s established operating procedures.
- They manage and direct operations personnel, temporary team members and any other assigned work groups, to meet the fiscal objectives supporting the organizations mission.
- The Production Supervisor serves as a role model and mentor for all team members and trainees, promoting teamwork and exemplary customer service internally and externally.
- Transports team members to multiple worksites as needed. *
- Assists the EVPO with retail store setting as needed.
- Provides backup for the Special Project Supervisor, covering opening and closing of the facility and supervising the recycling team when needed.
- Provides exemplary customer service internally to all team members, participants and other team members. Responds to questions, concerns and complaints in a fair, impartial and professional manner, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. *
- Maintains records of department operations as required.
- Is responsible for preparing weekly schedules to maintain coverage of the department at all times within established guidelines.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Safety Manual.*
- Adheres to all organizational policies and procedures and coaches their team to have a full understanding of the policies and procedures and abide by them consistently.*
- Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Logistics & Facilities Director or a member of management.*

- Helps to oversee other duties and programs as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills that are a must:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle, adequate vehicle insurance coverage and be able to travel locally on a daily basis.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years production experience and preferably 1 year in a supervisory position.
- Experience in guiding and developing team members is preferred.
- Must understand the importance of production as it relates to store operations.
- Knowledge of retail practices, inventory control and exceptional customer service skills required.
- Ability to work 100% of scheduled hours onsite
- Light to medium work (up to 50 pounds), stooping/bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, standing, walking, reaching, handling, fingering, occasional climbing, talking hearing, having good eyesight and color vision.
Pay Range & Schedule: This position is hourly, non-exempt and starts at $16 / hour.
- Must be able to adhere to our attendance policy. We’re a retail environment with retail hours, which can include nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Most of our stores are open Monday – Saturday 10AM - 8PM & Sunday 1PM – 6PM, so no late night shifts!
- Part-time positions are up to 28 hours per week (can include weekends and evenings).
- Full-time positions are based on a 40-hour work week and open availability is required (includes weekends and evenings).
