What You’ll Do:
- Accepts, sorts, prices, recycles donated items in accordance with established guidelines. *
- May unload/load trucks/trailers and donation carts, moving materials with appropriate equipment (carts, pallet jacks, hand truck). *
- Performs all assigned tasks in compliance with procedures, policies and practices as defined in the Donated Goods Standard Operating Procedures manual (DGSOP).*
- Processes donations per established guidelines as follows:*
- Sorts textiles, bin goods, linens by category, saleable, non-saleable
- Places textiles on appropriate hanger by category of tops or bottoms
- Properly places tags in clothing for sizes and for rotation purposes with a swift tach gun, wearing the appropriate tagging glove.
- Places hung merchandise on a rolling rack for counting, sorting by size and category of men’s, women’s, children and linens.
- Transports rolling rack to staging area or storage area/work floor.
- Places produced product in appropriate container for shipping to other retail locations.
- Ensures containers are appropriately labeled for shipment and product recognition.
- Places non-saleable merchandise in appropriate container in accordance with established guidelines. *
- Keeps accurate records of daily production. *
Education, Experience, and Skills that are a must:
- Training will be on-the-job.
- Ability to work 100% of scheduled hours onsite.
- Ability to meet quality and selection processes as outlined.
- Must be honest and dependable.

- Medium lifting (up to 75 pounds), carrying, reaching, pushing (up to 25 pounds frequently), standing, bending, hearing, speaking, walking, pulling, stooping, fingering, seeing, good eyesight and color vision.
Pay Range & Schedule:
- This position is hourly, non-exempt and starts at $11 / hour
- Must be able to adhere to our attendance policy.
- Part-time positions are up to 28 hours per week (can include weekends and evenings).
- Full-time positions are based on a 40-hour work week and open availability is required (includes weekends and evenings).
