The Data Analyst will support the organization’s service delivery platform by providing in-depth analysis and data-driven strategic advice regarding Goodwill’s initiatives, client needs, and workforce trends. The Data Analyst contributes to the design and implementation of SOPs, models, and workflows to discover valuable information in large volumes of data from various sources; organizes, harmonizes, and analyzes data; uses various technologies to enable data visualization; and creates applications of general value to the organization.
Role and Responsibilities
- Adopt role of resident expert for all data systems relevant to the services team.
- Maintain a pipeline of research, analysis, activity, and grant metrics (including divisional scorecard performance metrics), and reports that ensure the division is meeting the needs of employers, job market, clients and organization.
- Function as a consultant to senior leadership about what the data means from a strategic perspective.
- Produce and maintain activity, performance metrics and outcome reports, including but not limited to the organization’s Organization and Divisional Scorecards, Outcome Management Report (OMR), and Monthly Statistical Report (MSR). Continuously assist department leadership, via data and analytics, in evaluating departmental success and recommend changes as needed and required.
- Attend WFA meetings, take meeting minutes, and track timelines and outcomes of meeting action items.
- Provide data system training and support to all service provider staff as needed.
- Convert organizational questions or opportunities into data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with other parts of the organization and with outside stakeholders to advance Goodwill’s mission.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship within the organization.
- Other duties assigned.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
