Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake interviews with applicants to gather necessary documentation and assess eligibility for the program.
- Verify and document eligibility status in accordance with program guidelines, ensuring that applicants meet the 75% eligibility requirement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of applicants throughout the intake process.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, advocacy groups, and community resources focused on supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Participate in community events and outreach activities to promote employment opportunities within the program.
- Collaborate with partner organizations to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
- Conduct site visits to monitor and assist in the integration of new employees, assessing their workplace environment and providing resource support.
- Evaluate workplace accommodations and suggest adjustments to ensure employees with disabilities can perform their job successfully.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up with employees and their supervisors to address any challenges they may encounter.
- Work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with program objectives and diversity goals.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to recruitment efforts, community partnerships, and employee success measurements.
- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation related to State Use and Federal contracts for each employee, ensuring accurate and timely submission on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with employment trends, disability rights, and best practices in workforce inclusion.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations with a focus on people with disabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in creating job accommodations.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a customer focus to ensure the expectations of stakeholders are met.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible by adapting behavior and work methods in response to ambiguity, new information, changing conditions or unexpected obstacles. Ability to cope effectively with job pressures and stress.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills by developing and implementing innovative solutions to identified or potential problems. Ability to address different problems simultaneously.
- One year’s experience in delivering case management and job training services with individuals with disabilities required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Texas Driver’s License, liability insurance, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, functional limitations, and medication regimes as related to job performance.
- Must be willing to work evening and nighttime hours.
- Position requires travel to and from several worksites throughout a nighttime shift.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to work in both a climate, and non-climate-controlled facility.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- Ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
