E-Commerce Shipper, Part-time

Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Package and ship items for the E-Commerce Department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Distribute merchandise using the shipping program and packaging guidelines, verifying order accuracy.
2. Provide excellent customer service by shipping orders in a timely manner.
3. Meet packing quality standards, ensuring merchandise arrives safely.
4. Accurately complete shipping audits and forms.
5. Maintain inventory of packing and shipping supplies.
6. Maintain the workstation area to be neat, clean and free of safety hazards.
7. Ability to effectively communicate distribution issues and concerns to supervisor.
8. Follow Goodwill safety practices.
9. Comply with Goodwill attendance and punctuality standards of behavior.
10. Effectively communicate the mission of Goodwill to customers and donors.
11. Promote and support Goodwill activities and initiatives.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic mathematical ability.

PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:

1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell and operate computer.
2. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
