Reports To (Title) : Program Director
Position Type : FLSA – non-exempt
General Purpose :
Picks up meals from restaurants and transport to program site. Sets up work area to properly serve program participants' lunch.
Essential Functions :
- Picks up and transport meals to the designated program location.
- Portions and serves food to customers in a friendly, efficient manner following the outlined steps of service.
- Stores food in designated areas following wrapping and food safety procedures.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Activities are subject to change / added to meet business needs with management approval.
