Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional Assistant to Career Services Regional Director to join our team! The Assistant to Career Services Regional Director (Regional) provides high-level administrative support to the director and other management staff, as time permits. Job Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Plans and schedules appointments and meetings between the Director of Career Services and others.
- Compiles business expense receipts; prepares and submits expense reports for reimbursement.
- Prepares presentations from basic information provided by the Director.
- Assists with incoming/outgoing mail, telephone calls, and information requests, diverting these from the director, when appropriate.
- Manages projects, conducts research, and participates in internal committees, as requested.
- Collects and prepares reports for various programs under the director.
- Compiles, assembles, and distributes meeting agendas and packets prior to meetings, handles logistics for meetings, and prepares meeting minutes, if needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional office environment experience.
- Solid understanding of basic computer issues.
- Must have proficient verbal and written skills appropriate for a professional environment, including mastery of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Must possess versatility, discretion, and good interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of diverse people.
Physical Demands:
- This job may have physical requirements that is considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
