Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) leads and manages all aspects of the HR function within his/her assigned Region and/or functional group, while balancing, supporting and addressing Corporate, and Local needs, challenges and opportunities. This position serves as the focal point of contact for the senior leader in the assigned line of business and the respective team in defining and executing all HR and organizational priorities. Essential Duties and Tasks:
- First line contact for internal and external customers regarding all human resource activities. Effectively coordinate overall HR support to ensure that internal and external customer needs are met in timely, high-quality fashion for staffing, employee relations, compensation, salary planning, training/ development, recognition/reward, relocation and other HR related
- Responsible for leading and coordinating all Human Resource support for the identified Region and/or functional group. The groups could range from 300 – 500 employees,
- Supports the implementation and interpretation of HR strategy and tactics to the overall business priorities of the organization and effectively manages the execution of these initiatives to result in improved business
- Works closely with senior leaders and their respective leadership team on all organizational change initiatives including but not limited to reorganizations, talent upgrades, promotions, reductions in force, performance improvement plans, separations and related
- Serves as champion, leads or supports business initiatives focused on enhancing organization effectiveness, performance and talent, including but not limited to: organization design and effectiveness, organization and capabilities review (potential ratings, succession plans, development plans, and calibration sessions), performance management, rewards and recognition, training/development (nominations, coaching), employee engagement, diversity and inclusion.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management or business or a related field
- Three to five (3-5) years of progressive human resource experience or a combination of human resource and business experience. Significant experience in various HR disciplines, including Talent Management/Organizational Development, talent assessment/development/coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, and change
- PHR-SPHR, SHRM CP-SCP certification(s), preferred.

- Must possess versatility, discretion and good interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of diverse
Physical Demands:
- This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
- Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is frequently required. Must be able to travel in-state approximately 25% to other Agency locations.
