Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia (dba Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA) seeks a Phlebotomy Instructor for an introductory level class utilizing the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Phlebotomy curriculum. The teaching schedule is on a contract basis.
The instructor will provide classroom instruction based on certification and program policies. Instructor will create an environment conducive to student learning in the classroom utilizing a variety of instructional modalities. Instructor will evaluate student performance based on designated evaluation tools. Instructor will submit and update all paperwork, required reports, and evaluations to students and administration as required.
Must hold an industry recognized credential such as Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician or Certified Medical Assistant with at least three years of experience in the career field as Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse. Prior teaching experience highly desirable. Must have knowledge of HIPPA laws. Effective oral and written communication skills. Competent computer skills with ability to use Microsoft applications. CPR certification preferred.
