MAINTENANCE HELPER : TEMPORARY POSITION. START DATE 2/17/25
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As directed, provides assistance in first level repairs to all Goodwill facilities.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrate core values of Goodwill Industries by modeling Service, Ownership, Accountability and Respect (SOAR).
- Must have basic working knowledge of building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Good working knowledge of power tools and safety related methods.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience working in building facilities/maintenance, construction, or similar field preferred.
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Must be courteous and able to work in any area without disrupting area productivity.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in all Goodwill facilities and sometimes exposed to weather elements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be physically fit and able to climb ladders, scaffolds and platforms. Required to work on different types of equipment levels and able to lift 75 pounds of weight. Position requires frequent bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling. Must have the manual dexterity to perform required duties.
