What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier barista position at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA?
I'm sure you are asking yourself what is a barista? Well, we are glad you asked. A Barista is someone who makes and / or serves coffee and coffee-based beverages.
The ideal person for this role is someone that is familiar with providing excellent customer service early in the morning and weekends at our Bakehouse / Coffee location housed on the Augusta Campus.
The Barista / cashier will be one of the smiling faces on the Bakehouse team.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner
- Preparing and serving beverages such as coffee, tea simple to elaborate,
- Preparing and serving food items, promoting menu selections
- Answering customer questions
- Keeping the work environment organized and sanitary
- Working to attract new customers with their knowledge of fresh baker items
