About the Role
As the Artworks Manager, you will develop and support individualized employment plans, provide job readiness training, and serve as a job coach to help consumers gain meaningful employment. You will oversee the daily and weekly scheduling of studio art spaces, after-school art programs, and workshops. Additionally, you will coordinate guest artists, ensure the smooth operation of the retail gallery, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and track individualized employment plans for program participants.
- Provide face-to-face and virtual job coaching and case management.
- Manage studio art spaces, after-school art programs, and workshops.
- Schedule guest artists, publish monthly event calendars, and facilitate weekly art classes.
- Oversee supply purchases and maintain a well-stocked workspace.
- Provide leadership for Art Coaches and ensure program goals are met.
- Support individuals in securing and maintaining employment, offering job readiness training.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with Texas Workforce Commission guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members, consumers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the Artworks Center remains a clean, organized, and welcoming space.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or disadvantages preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic consumer record systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid Texas or Oklahoma driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements
