Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate the cash register, process sales transactions, and handle cash/credit card payments accurately.
- Assist customers with pricing, product inquiries, and returns.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipts, and other supplies.
- Follow loss prevention and security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
- Assist with merchandising, restocking, and store organization as needed.
- Uphold Goodwill's mission and values by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting with fluctuating temperatures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required-we provide training!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and change accurately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive, team-player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
