This role is essential in ensuring our donors feel appreciated and welcomed.
Job Summary: The Donor Greeter will report to the Store Manager. The Donor Greeter plays a critical role in providing a positive experience for our donors. This position involves greeting donors, assisting with donations, providing information about our services, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet donors as they arrive.
- Assist donors with the donation process, including answering questions and providing necessary information.
- Ensure the donation area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Thank donors for their contributions and provide any follow-up information as needed.
- Assist with the intake and processing of donations.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient donation process.
- Address any donor concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move donations as needed.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
