We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Career Advisor to join our team. As a Career Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, guiding individuals in exploring career options, providing resume and interview preparation assistance, and facilitating workshops and seminars. The Career Advisor is expected to:
- Develop and/or provide work-related assessments of personal aptitude, abilities, skills, and knowledge.
- Coordinate customer services with other internal and external programs, service providers, community organizations, employers, and training providers.
- As needed, prepare and maintain accurate customer personal plans, progress summaries, progress notes, and other documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency, in combination with either:
- Experience supporting clients with barriers to employment
- Experience developing business relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to travel as required to worksites, training locations, partner agencies, and client access points.
- A criminal background check that meets Agency standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business, Human Services, Human Relations, or related fields
