Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000
Job Summary:
Oversees management of the day-to-day accounting functions of the Agency. Ensures timely and accurate reporting of financial data. Develops and implements systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Duties include:
Oversee monthly close process.
Monitor financial controls, accounting policies, and compliance to relevant standards.
Verify and analyze internal and external financial reporting.
Supervise monthly and annual general ledger reconciliations.
Direct, lead, and develop accounting management.
Suggest improvements in processes and oversees implementation to increase effectiveness of department.
Assist with annual budget process.
Assist with the development of custom reports for leadership staff as needed.
Represents the Agency in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Three years supervisory experience.
Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices and guidelines, including those necessary for federal and state compliance and industry best practice
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated computer proficiency, including proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office products and the Internet.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to give, receive and analyze information.
