We are a rapidly growing company seeking a dedicated Store Manager for our Beaumont/Jefferson County retail store. Our task is to manage a retail store engaged in receiving, processing, and selling merchandise to achieve a positive net revenue. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily store operations and leading a diverse team of retail store employees.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead a team of retail store employees.
· Conduct employee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training.
· Plan, assign, and direct work tasks.
· Monitor and appraise employee performance.
· Address employee, customer, and donor complaints and resolve issues with the assistance of the Director of Retail Operations, HR Department, and/or CEO/President.
· Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store, placing emphasis on production.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Minimum of two years of related employment experience.
· At least one year of supervisory experience.
Skills and Abilities:
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Knowledge of Clover, Outlook, Excel and Zoom is desirable.
· Effective public speaking and presentation skills.
· Strong mathematical skills, including calculating figures, discounts, proportions, and percentages.
· Accurate money-handling ability.
· Problem-solving skills and adaptability to diverse situations.
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
· Ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform physical tasks.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
· Normal retail environment with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures.
