General Summary:
Perform full life cycle recruiting activities to meet the organization’s needs, including workforce planning, sourcing and communicating with candidates, screening, orientation paperwork, regulatory reporting, attending job fairs, facilitating the creation and update of job descriptions, managing the ATS, and performing recruiting related projects or tasks.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders across the organization to identify current and future staffing needs, including creation and updating of job posting templates, anticipating current staffing needs based on turnover and forecasting future staffing needs based on organization strategic plan.
- Review applications and schedule and conduct interviews for select roles across the organization.
- Maintain consistent communications with candidates at all stages of the recruitment cycle and ensure a best in class experience through each stage.
- Assist managers with negotiation and extending conditional offers of employment including the creation and maintenance of offer letter templates.
- Perform reference and background checks on applicants.
- Ensure each new hire has a completed E-Verify record. Troubleshoot problems and intervene with Tentative Non Confirmations (TNC) by communicating with Hiring Managers and Candidates. Provide direction and counsel to both groups to resolve TNC decisions.
- Partner with Marketing to develop and execute a social media strategy including platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and others. Work with them in the development of other collaterals for promoting our employment brand and attracting talent.
- Develop community partnerships to create a pipeline of talent geared toward the growth of the organization and achievement of diversity, equity and inclusion goals. This includes proactive outreach to other organizations, educational institutions and attendance at university and community job fairs.
- Follow-up with hiring managers to ensure new hire paperwork is submitted accurately and on time. Coach Managers, as needed.
- Serve as internal subject matter expert and owner for all users of our Applicant Tracking System. Create and maintain user accounts and serve as first point of contact for staff requiring assistance in its use. Develop and execute training for hiring managers on its use and facilitate candidate movement through all stages of the software.
- Conduct HR recruiting file audits as directed including federal forms, identity, and work authorization documents.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and streamline the recruiting process for the candidate, the hiring manager, and other internal departments.
- Learn and maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops, conferences, publications, professional organizations, and networking.
- Maintain and provide timely and accurate data to maintain recruiting metrics. Submit monthly reports and analytics to track progress towards goals.
- Gather data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact ability to find and hire the right talent.
- Assist with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources projects and initiatives as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, electronically, over the phone, and face-to-face.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal HR law.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS database.
- Experience developing and implementing social media campaigns to build applicant pools and foster an employer brand is prefered.
Travel Required: Ability to travel up to 10 %.
Required education and/or work experience:
- Associate’s degree with minimum of 2 years’ related recruiting experience in an HR role.
- Experience with recruiting for a multi-site organization for varying organizational levels and position types strongly preferred.
