Goodwill Staffing Services is looking for a Maintenance Building Tech (Temporary-Position) in Harlingen.
ELIGIBILITY
This is a State Set Aside Contract which requires that employees have a qualifying disabling condition. DESCRIPTION:
Performs routine work in (2) two or more maintenance building construction trades. Work involves maintaining and repairing buildings, stationary equipment and motorized equipment. Work involves carpentry, plumbing, sanitation systems. Two (2) years experience in one trade preferred. Work requires heavy physical activity. Work is performed independently and under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager. Work requires driving to other areas as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s license with less than 10 points against record as per guidelines. Compliance with immunization Policy required: serologic evidence of immunity to, or documented evidence of vaccination against, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox), Tdap, annual vaccination against influenza (and hepatitis B if applicable).

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Must have knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, air conditioning & heating systems, electrical systems and fire alarm systems.
