About the Role:
- Assist the Retail Manager with all daily operations of the store.
- Assist with conflict resolution, including knowledge of the reporting process, managing ongoing employee concerns or behavioral problems, and collection of supporting documentation as needed.
- If requested by the Retail Manager, administer disciplinary action written by the Retail Manager when the Retail Manager is absent.
- Assist in reviewing candidate applications, conducting phone screens, and scheduling interviews.
- Defers to the Retail Manager to complete all other aspects of the hiring process, such as making hiring decisions.
- Assist team members and customers on sales floor and at cashier's desk; ability to make correct change.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the store.
- Supervise and manage activities related to accepting, sorting, categorizing, pricing, and distributing of donated goods; maintain a safe, secure, and clean work environment.
- Perform daily administrative/clerical functions of store operations, such as opening and closing procedures, ordering supplies, setting work schedules, assisting with payroll, and components of PBI/RBI.
