The Graphic Installation Specialist responsibilities include wrapping vehicles, application of fleet graphics, wall murals, banners, rigid panel signs, and other signage, mounting and / or laminating prints and providing quality assurance to ensure the efficient production of quality, accurate graphics. The Specialist completes graphic installations on windows, walls and vehicles, both in-house and at customer locations, throughout the Southern California area and leads Ambassadors and Trainees in instruction of installations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes installs efficiently without sacrificing quality of work.
- Makes precise cuts with knife in vinyl without damaging surfaces.
- Trains others in full vehicle wraps. (Box trucks, trailers, windows and walls)
- Assists with setting production work schedule for processing requests. Able to plan and coordinate, on short notice, printing of rush jobs.
- Operates printing production equipment as needed. Properly sets up various types of print jobs.
- Creates digital print-ready files; determines media types, weights, finishes, and sizes for project application
- Coordinates with Print Shop Manager for preparing job cost estimates and job specifics.
- Develops Digital Printing Career Training Program for certification and fulfills role of instructor for installations.
- Supervises 1 - 2 helpers Ambassadors. Leads trainees in lab work connected to training class installation modules.
- Complies and ensures adherence to project requirements. Maintains a safe working environment through inspections and training.
- Driving records must be acceptable by company's insurance vendor.
