Job Description
As a Customer Service Associate Trainee, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the overall success of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting every customer 5 feet from you and engaging them in conversation
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor by recovering standards through sizing of merchandise and organization of wares and furniture
• Establishing or identifying prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site manager or supervisor
Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Excellent customer service skills: Ability to meet customer needs, understand their concerns, and resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Basic math skills: Ability to accurately handle cash and process register transactions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
