Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate Trainee. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and support the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
• Greet every customer 5 feet from you and engage them in conversation to provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized store by recovering standards through sizing of merchandise and organization of wares and furniture
• Establish or identify prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site manager or supervisor
• Use good phone etiquette and answer within 3 rings
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must have the following qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service skills: Ability to meet customer needs, understand their concerns, and resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Basic math skills: Ability to accurately handle cash and process register transactions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines. You must also be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
