Description of Responsibilities : Provide Great customer service skills to the stores , admin, and all other vendors / donors. Primary duties include supervision of assigned employees in moving of donated materials, salvage commodities / sorts, trash, equipment / fixtures or other designated materials on / off trucks. Ensures all stores are scheduled per the retail needs and trucks are loaded according to policy. Will assist in all areas of salvage and new goods and cross train to cover other specified job descriptions within the plant as needed. Provide excellent customer service to the stores, admin, and all other vendors / donors. Ensures the proper training of all employees in each area of responsibility. Supervises assigned crew in various departments. Assigns duties for Material Handler I's and II's. Performs other job related duties as needed.
Required Experience : High School graduate or its equivalent. At least one to two years of experience in warehouse operations; one to two years of experience loading 53', 48' containers and box trucks; one year supervisory experience; Previous forklift experience desired; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
Required skills : Ability to listen to and follow instructions; communicate effectively both written and verbally; work under stressful conditions; use good judgment, patience, and understanding; basic math skills; Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook); able to see and recognize colors; able to stand for long periods of time, to ambulate independently, to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull; lift forty (40) pounds and two-team lift bulky items or items over the 40 pound designation.
