Description of Responsibilities: Great customer service skills. Under direct supervision of the Outlet Manager, the Salvage Shift Supervisor assists in managing salvage activities and directing of salvage operations on a day-to-day work plan. Working long hours, weekends, evenings and holidays are often part of the job.
Required Experience: High school diploma or its equivalent. One year related experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Required skills: Complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards and ensures all applicable training is completed throughout areas supervised to meet CARF, Department of Labor, OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Ensures a safe working environment with proper usage of PPE requirements; maintain the authorized plant layout and efficient work flow to maximize productivity and labor using charts, records and reports; maintains maintenance records for the fleet including forklifts and all warehouse equipment including balers, tippers, compactors, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
