What You’ll Do:
- Support daily store operations, open/close the store, and handle reports
- Train and lead staff to meet sales and donation goals
- Communicate the Goodwill Mission to customers, donors, and staff and explain how the Goodwill Store, Transportation Department, and Donation Center support the mission.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly environment
- Assist with hiring and employee development
- Be a champion of our POS and Push Systems
- Rotate opening and closing shifts with the Team Lead.
- Deliver excellent service to customers and donors every day
- Help plan and organize employees' work schedules to meet the demands and specifications of the retail POS system, Push System, store sales, and donation center needs.
- All other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
What You’ll Need:
- Retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand/move for long periods
- Reliable transportation for bank deposits is required
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to work a varied schedule and flexible hours Sunday through Saturday of each week
