Goodwill Southern Rivers is currently seeking a Goodlife Program Manager The Goodlife Program Manager advocates awareness, strategies, and support for team members, with a focus on Family Strengthening and personal development. Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Goodlife Program Manager responsibilities:
- Connecting Team Members to local Community Resources - Across the footprint find resources to meet urgent - immediate, mid-range, and long-term needs.
- Support career stabilization and advancement either inside or outside of Goodwill.
- Work with team members to increase their skills and credential attainment; develop individualized plans with team members that explore and identify educational goals and steps to meet their goals.
- Provide action items and activities that encourage team members to take fundamental steps to improve their finances.
- Oversees other team member recognition Programs.
- Responsible for reporting on all programs and managing and expanding the GoodLife Brand.
- Provide oversight of grant-funded strategic programs.
- Partner with Mission Resources to support Team Member Tax Preparation and United Way initiatives.
- Act as spokesperson for the organization in matters relating to the program and resources available to team members.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the program, along with annual program budgets.
- Demonstrate good work habits and serve as a positive role model for team members and the organization.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding GWISR and team members receiving services.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent associate degree with relevant work experience.
- Certification(s)or experience in Financial Literacy, Education Credential or Degree in Financial Field, Training/Coaching credentials, Life Coach Certification preferred
- Attain a Functioning understanding of Public Assistance Programs and CLIFF guidelines through the completion of Course material through the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
- Work experience 7 years of experience
