Additionally, the HR Administrator ensures that any changes to plans and carriers are implemented correctly.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s HR Administrator’s responsibilities:
- Collaborates with brokers to identify best practices that ensure plan designs align with the organization's needs.
- Evaluate benefit plans, research plan options, and assess new carrier services.
- Develop a comprehensive communication summary that outlines all benefits, including AFLAC supplemental options.
- Collaborates with brokers and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of changes related to annual renewals.
- Coordinate bi-annual meetings to educate and inform team members about benefit plans, updates, and reward programs.
- Collaborate with vendors to facilitate presentations that educate team members on available benefits, such as the health rewards program offered through the medical plan.
- Oversee all leave policies, including the approval and denial of requests for Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Short-term Disability (STD), and Long-term Disability (LTD).
- Prepares recommendations for any changes in plan design, carrier selection, and/or adjustments to pricing or fee schedules.
- Review contracts and terms associated with new plan designs.
- Present findings to senior leaders to evaluate the impact on the organization and its team members.
- Responsible for the timely enrollment of Goodwill and PWI team members, ensuring that all enrollment information is promptly sent to the vendor on an annual and monthly basis.
- Complete, distribute, and file the 1094/1095. Compile reporting for the 401k Testing for PWI and GWI.
- Other duties as assigned
- Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an undergraduate degree.
- Minimum three (3) years of previous experience.
