The Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Store Manager to support and manage our LaGrange Retail Store.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Store Manager Responsibilities:
- Guide, support, and coach retail team members on customer service, engagement, processing, and warehouse efficiency
- Generate labor schedules and delegate assignments
- Manage store operations regarding recruiting, hiring, training, and team development; complete and submit all related documentation
- Analyze reports and base decisions on those results
- Develop action plans to support continuous improvement in areas such as production, customer service, sales, safety, logistics, etc.
- Prioritize safety for team members, customers, and donors by ensuring all work areas are free of clutter and all GoodwillSR safety procedures are followed
- Input daily donations, production counts, and salvage inventory
- Manage maintenance and supplies for the Retail Store and associated Attended Donation Centers
- Integrate GoodwillSR's Mission and values in all daily activities
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the District Manager
Work Environment:
This job operates in a retail/warehouse environment. Team members may be subject to indoor and outdoor conditions, dust, dirt and other allergens, noise, heat ad cold temperatures.
Requirements:
- Level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an associates degree
- 3 years managing a retail operation and leading a team
