Job Identification:

Wage: $17.50 Hourly
Job Summary:
The Sustainable Production Associate is responsible for processing, and pricing goods. Employee safely helps load and unload poly bins/gaylords as needed for processing. Maintains the production area and properly places material in the proper place in the facility. The employee adheres to all safety procedures and wears the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as assigned for the position. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills.
• Sorts, processes, and prices goods according to company production standards and guidelines.
• Works in various areas of the warehouse; determined daily by management, including soft goods production, hard goods production, etc.
• Identifies high-end and/or collectible items to send to E-Commerce for online sales.
• Meets of exceeds goals for units identified for E-Commerce.
• Cleans items and inspects for any damage/breakage. Prices items following company standards and maintains accurate records of items priced.
• Places items that cannot be sold in a store into appropriate containers for resell or salvage and separates by category.
• Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules.
• Conducts self in a safe manner, works cooperatively as a team with other team members to prevent bodily injuries and property damages.
• Safeguards all donations and company property from damage and theft. Treats all donations and company property with respect and care.
• Ensures proper handling and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous waste.
• Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or mission.
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of laws and regulations related to hazardous materials.

• Work schedule Monday through Friday 7:00-3:30. Some holidays or weekends may be required depending on business needs.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must work in all weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods walking and standing (up to 8 hours).
• Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 75 pounds at times.
• Ability to bend/squat/stoop.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Good vision.
• Manual dexterity.
• Free from drug and alcohol abuse.
